Tandoori over Arlington
Within a stone's throw of college haunts in the ever changing Clarendon, new Tandoori Nights (2800 Clarendon Blvd - Arlington, VA) is bringing true clay pot cuisine to the DC Metro area.
We ventured into a Boti Kabob surrounded by my new favorite Palak Paneer and a Lentil Stew perfect for dipping bits of our Naan basket (ordered separately). The heat rising from our Boti would have put any Fajitis pan to shame. Be sure not to shy away from their yellow curry sauce.
Wine list was a blah but a full bar and big bottles of Taj Mahal and King Fisher met the need. Save room for the dessert. Cardoman and rose water influenced.
